Hectic. Breathless. Competing for attention. Todays jazz likes to strive for trendy hipness. Not so the music of Berlin Jazz-Guitarist Claus Rückbeil. His style lightens up the genre with relaxed glamour of timelessness. After years of playing the jazz-classics he loves, he now introduces exclusively his own compositions. In between the notes of these tunes you hear the story of a musician who travels far to find himself – at home - in jazz.

Claus Rückbeil developed a unique and distinctive voice with his guitar. With his new CD „Comes Life“ he now also proves impressively his composing skills. This record becomes a milestone of the Berlin based travelling jazz musician, on a road, which took him with different musical project across Europe, Asia, the USA or Cuba.

The „Comes Life“-Tour will feature Dan-Robin Matthies (fender-rhodes) Jimmi Roger Pedersen (double bass) and Michael Griener (drums).
